      Activation of NotumEPg31259 by using Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results in complete embryonic lethality.

      Flies expressing NotumEPg31259 under the control of Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 show loss of wing and duplication of the dorsal thorax. Expression of NotumEPg31259 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL results in loss of naked cuticle and extra rows of denticles in the embryo. Expression of NotumEPg31259 under the control of Scer\GAL4wg-Gal4 results in leg axis duplications. Expression of NotumEPg31259 under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 results in scalloping of the wing.
