In combination with the Scer\GAL4GMR.PF driver Rac2EP3118 animals display rough but normal size eyes.

The Scer\GAL4ey.PH driver produces a normal eye phenotype in Rac2EP3118 animals.

Pan-neural expression of Rac2EP3118 with Scer\GAL4elav-C155 results in normal eye development.

Expression of Rac2EP3118 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in flies with slit shaped eyes.

Expression of Rac2EP3118 under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B results in a reduction in the number of lateral LT muscle precursors, including the lbe-positive lateral adult muscle precursors and segmental border muscles. The number of eve-expressing pericardial cells is reduced in about 25% of these embryos, with no major changes in the number of lbe-expressing cardioblasts and pericardial cells.

Expression of Rac2EP3118 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH results in eyes that are strongly reduced in size. Flies expressing Rac2EP3118 under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev have rough eyes. Flies expressing Rac2EP3118 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E have wing venation defects and wing blisters.

The eye phenotype resulting from the expression of Rac2EP3118 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is enhanced in CRMPsupK1 animals that have reduced eyes with extensively fused ommatidia.

The Scer\GAL4ey.PH driver produces irregular ommatidial arrangements and reduced eyes in Rac2EP3118 animals that are homozygous for CRMPsupK1.
