    Statement
    Reference

Escapers of the lethality with vtd alleles show rough and notched eyes, small thin bristles and male escapers show reduced sex combs and unpigmented patches in the fifth abdominal segment.

Nearly all vtd mutant alleles are moderately to strongly semi-lethal in combination with l(3)80Fj2-30. Escapers have rough and notched eyes and small or thin bristles and males often have reduced sex combs and sometimes unpigmented patches of cuticle in the 5th abdominal segment.
