Detailed Description

Expression of inx2Scer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B results in similar hatch rates as controls, but only 15% of the total number of embryos survive to adulthood. Expression of inx2Scer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS results in reduced survival rates compared to controls.

Co-expression of inx2Scer\UAS.cSa and inx3Scer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B results in significantly lower viability than when inx2Scer\UAS.cSa alone is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B; only 27% of embryos hatch and only 5.5% reach adulthood. Co-expression of inx2Scer\UAS.cSa and inx3Scer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS results in reduced survival rates compared to controls.
