Expression of AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4neur-GAL4-A101 results in the loss of posterior-derived MD neurons (e.g. 99% of vbd). On the other hand, vdaB and v'ada are never lost. No SOP1a or SOP4a loss occurs in these flies.

Homozygous AxnS044230 germ-line clone-derived embryos expressing AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show supernumerary denticles in the ventral embryonic epidermis.

Expression of AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4ato.3.6 does not affect dorsal cluster neuron axon extension across the optic chiasm in adult flies.

Terminal tracheal cells are duplicated in AxnScer\UAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4btl.PS embryos, but have normal morphology and most remain in the posterior compartment (only around 3% are displaced to the adjacent anterior compartment).

When AxnScer\UAS.cHa is driven by Scer\GAL4Dll-md23 the overall size of leg discs is reduced.

Tracheal dorsal trunk formation is inhibited in embryos expressing AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS. Tracheal cell fusion at the dorsal branch and lateral trunk is also inhibited.

Expression of AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL471B results in notches in the wing. Expression of AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4tsh-Gal4-1 results in the formation of a supernumerary leg from the ventral surface of the normal leg. Sternite bristles are missing and the entire ventral surface of the abdomen is composed of pleura.

Expression of AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 blocks the naked-cuticle phenotype of ApcQ8, Apc2d40 double mutant embryos.

The ventral denticle belt phenotype of AxnS044230, ApcQ8, Apc2d40 triple mutants is suppressed by expression of AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32.

Expression of AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 suppresses the ventral denticle belt phenotype of sggM11 mutant embryos.

The addition of AxnScer\UAS.cHa partially restores areas of naked cuticle to AxnScer\UAS.cHa, Scer\GAL4arm.PS mutants. Also an abundance of small denticles are seen.

Comments

Homozygous AxnS044230 germ-line clone-derived embryos expressing AxnScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show supernumerary denticles in the ventral embryonic epidermis.

AxnScer\UAS.cHa expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified partially rescues 5 to 10% of AxnS044230 animals, allowing them to survive to the late third larval instar or pupal stage.
