btl::tor4021.Scer\UAS Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL somatic clones in the dorsal air sac primordium are larger than wild-type clones, forming bulky outgrowths. These clones never contribute to the primordium tip but show extremely dynamic cytoskeletal activity - forming large lamellopodia which extend away from the air sac, simlar to cells at the tip. (clones generated by Scer\GAL80 MARCM technique.)

Flies expressing btl::tor4021.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 have larger wings than normal, with extra wing vein material and deltas at the wing margin.

Embryos expressing btl::tor4021.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS in a wild-type background show excessive terminal branching in the tracheal system.

The wing phenotype see in flies expressing btl::tor4021.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 is suppressed by coexpression of vapScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC.

Expression of btl::tor4021.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS in btlLG19 mutant embryos partially rescues tracheal cell migration, and additional tracheal branching is seen, as in embryos expressing btl::tor4021.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS in a wild-type background. Expression of btl::tor4021.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS in stumps09904b mutant embryos does not rescue tracheal migration defects.
