Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4twi.2PE does not induce alary muscle duplications in embryos.

Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa in body wall muscle (under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B) reduces the magnitude of K[+] fast currents.

Embryos expressing tupScer\UAS.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4twi.PB show a transformation of muscle DA3 to DA2 in 88% of segments.

Mis-expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH reduces or abolishes the eye.

Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4C-765 results in the formation of notum-like tissue in the mesothoracic pleura and extra notum-like bristles on the tegula.

Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa, under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237, affects the development of the dorsocentral and scutellar bristles and induces a thoracic cleft.

Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa, under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544, results in the formation of rudimentary wings.

The legs of tupScer\UAS.cTa; Scer\GAL4ap-md544 flies lack a fourth tarsal segment. tupScer\UAS.cTa; Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 flies the femur, tibia and first tarsal segment are fused. In the pretarsus only one claw develops.

tupisl-1 mutants expressing tupScer\UAS.cTa using Scer\GAL4elav.PLu do not hatch. Produces changes in axonal projections of interneurons and motor neurons, when expressed using Scer\GAL4sca-537.4. Motor neurons that normally innervate dorsal muscles often remain within the ventral muscle region. Both ISN and SNa motor axons often fail to reach their normal target areas and show abnormal arborisations over the ventral muscle region.

Co-expression of Lim3Scer\UAS.cTa enhances the reduction in K[+] fast currents found upon expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B.

Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa with BxEP1306, both under the control of Scer\GAL4Ccap.PP, suppresses the wing expansion defect found upon expression of BxEP1306 alone.

Co-expression of both tupScer\UAS.cTa and araScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4C-765 results in the wing and wing hinge being replaced by a large structure of notum-like tissue.

Co-expression of both tupScer\UAS.cTa and araScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 transforms the central part of the wing to notum-like tissue, whereas the anterior and posterior parts develop as wing tissue. The animals also show notum-like structures near the coxa, indicating transformation of the ventral region of the body wall towards notum.

Coexpression of the apScer\UAS.cOa transgene rescues the rudimentary wing phenotype of Scer\GAL4ap-md544>tupScer\UAS.cTa flies.

Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa, under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544, in a ChiE background causes no wing defects.

Expression of tupScer\UAS.cTa, under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237, partially suppresses the excess scutellar bristle phenotype of ChiE mutants.

The loss of tarsal segment 4 in the legs of tupScer\UAS.cTa; Scer\GAL4ap-md544 flies is not suppressed by apScer\UAS.cOa or ChiFL.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC, but is partially suppressed by BScer\UAS.cKa.
