      Homozygotes have a duplicated RP2 neuron in 68% of hemisegments. The longitudinal connectives are missing. Embryos have no cuticle defects. The expressivity of the phenotype of hemizygous Drltt-EMS/Df(3R)L127 flies is similar to that of homozygous Drltt-EMS flies, indicating that the Drltt-EMS mutation is close to being an amorph.
