Scm^ET50 suppresses the pairing-dependent silencing of w^{enh.iab-7PRE.410} seen in flies homozygous for P{iab-7PRE-w^enh.410}1 or P{iab-7PRE-w^enh.410}2. Scm^ET50 suppresses the pairing-dependent silencing of w^{enh.iab-7PRE.260} seen in flies homozygous for P{iab-7PRE-w^enh.260}1 or P{iab-7PRE-w^enh.260}2.

The addition of heterozygous Scm^ET50 can suppress the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in w^Mcp.10, w^Mcp.13, w^{Mcp.scs'.12:15}, w^Mcp.scs'.11 and w^Mcp.scs'.14.
