      Flies transheterozygous for sxc4 and sxc6 or sxc7 develop into pharate adults showing a typical sxc mutant phenotype.

      sxc2/sxc4 flies are viable and fertile, but exhibit wing abnormalities suggestive of wing-to-haltere transformations.
