CycE²/+ flies exhibit normal wings.

(Wang et al., 2017)

CycE^B29-25l/CycE², CycE^22t/CycE² and CycE^32-8/CycE² animals have a rough eye phenotype.

(Unhavaithaya et al., 2013)

CycE² clones do not impair germ line stem cell maintenance. However, CycE² clones engender follicle stem cells defects.

(Wang and Kalderon, 2009)

No BrdU incorporation is detected in the anterior midgut cells of stage 13 CycE⁰⁵²⁰⁶/CycE² embryos. However, at stage 14 some BrdU incorporation is detected in these cells. This suggests the G₁-S transition is delayed. 3.7% of CycE⁰⁵²⁰⁶/CycE² animals eclose. These flies are sterile, have rough eyes and the fifth wing vein is incompletely formed.

Homozygous and CycE^JP/CycE² flies have a milder rough eye phenotype than CycE^JP homozygotes.
