dxS1M/Y adults have mild distal notching of the wing and mild distal thickening (deltas) in the wing veins.

Thickened wing veins and wing margin loss.

Viable. Extra wing vein material at distal ends, nicked margins an tips. Ocelli are fused or closed, hairs and bristles are abnoral or missing. Weak rough eye phenotype: irregular ommatidia, bristles are duplicated or missing. No visual abnormality. Hemizygote males with NAx-E2 are sterile.
