Comments

The 3R:29468941..29565244 release 6 coordinates of the left breakpoint are estimates. The left extent corresponds to the estimated position of the left end of polytene band 99B1, because published cytologies indicate the left breakpoint of Df(3R)L127 lies within the 99B1-5 bands or to their right. The right extent corresponds to the right end of Dr, which published results say is deleted.

The 3R:30387804..30459521 release 6 coordinates of the right breakpoint are estimates. The left extent corresponds to the left end of Fer2LCH, which published results say is deleted. The right extent corresponds to the left end of CDase, which published results say is not deleted.

In combination with other aberrations

Df(3R)L127/Dp(3;1)B152 embryos show abnormal head involution and tracheal formation, and salivary glands are irregular. The hindgut and Malpighian tubules are shorter than normal and the Malpighian tubules are variable in diameter along their length.

NOT in combination with other aberrations

The distal half of the salivary gland turns but the proximal half does not in embryos homozygous for Df(3R)L127 by stage 14.

No second site non-complementing phenotype with zipEbr and zipmhc-c6.1.

Shows a dose-sensitive interaction with pbhs.PB.

Wild type nonanol phenotype; repulsion.

Heterozygotes with Dp(3;1)46A, Dp(3;1)27, Dp(3;1)74, Dp(3;1)78, Dp(3;1)R14, Dp(3;1)R10, Dp(3;1)67A and Dp(3;1)3 display a strong M(3)99B phenotype and are sterile.
