Description

A set of transgenic insertion stocks derived by TE mobilization using the P-element construct P{GT1}. The P{GT1} construct is described as a dual-tagged gene trap (FBrf0132344):it carries (1) w+mGT1 mini-white marker, designed to confer a pigmented eye phenotype only if the construct is inserted within a host gene, and (2) a promoter-less Ser\GAL4 gene which is expressed if it is produced as a fusion with the mRNA produced by the host gene. The construct also carries a Tn\neoR selectable marker (FBrf0132344).
