Description

Deletion of most of the Iml1 coding region, deletion contains 17 amino acids from the N-terminus and 53 amino acids from the C-terminus of all Iml1 transcripts. The intron of Iml1 also encodes a transcript of Ir62a, which is also deleted.

      Iml11/Df(3L)ED4238 flies die as pharate adults.

      The size of cells in the Iml11 somatic follicle cell clones is significantly increased compared to adjacent heterozygous cells and the egg chambers containing Iml11 mutant germline clones are also increased in size.
