Detailed Description

Somatic clones of cells homozygous for stuxnet2 display tergite boundary defects in adult flies.

Adult homozygous stuxnet2 escapers (that die as pharate adults) show homeotic haltere-to-wing as well as metathoracic-to-mesothoracic leg transformations.

Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The pupal stage lethality of hemizygous stuxnet2 males is suppressed by combination with Pc15 in heterozygous state.

Females double heterozygous for stuxnet2 and any of the following alleles: trxB11, Caf1-10536, brmT362 or Iswi1 females display tergite boundary defects that are not observed in stuxnet2 single heterozygote females.
