Adult males expressing Cdk1WT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus under the control of Scer\GAL4bam.T:Hsim\VP16 are fertile and their spermatocytes expressing have normal bipolar meiotic spindles with engaged centrioles.

Adult-specific expression of Cdk1WT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus (under the control of RU486-dependent Scer\GAL4elav.Switch.PO) has little effect on sleep.

Wing development is not notably affected by expression of cdc2WT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus via Scer\GAL4sd.PU.

Eye development is unaffected by expression of cdc2WT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus via Scer\GAL4ey.PU.

Scer\GAL4en.PU-mediated expression of cdc2WT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus does not alter apoptosis or the mitotic index in the posterior of the wing imaginal disc.

One hour after exposure to 40-Gy ionizing radiation, Scer\GAL4en.PU cdc2WT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus wing discs do not show mitotic cells, indicating a normal checkpoint response.
