      Co-expression of Dpac\nvdScer\UAS.cLa rescues survival to adulthood of flies expressing nvddsRNA.IR-1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL42-286 on food supplemented with lathosterol, but there is no rescue of survival on regular fly food. These flies survive significantly better on food supplemented with lathosterol compared to food supplemented with 7-dehydrocholesterol.
