Embryos expressing αTub67CScer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4sim.PS have an average of 13.3 mitotic ventral midline cells in total in the 10 trunk neuromeres at stage 12/13 (compared to 6.8 mitotic cells in wild type).
Midline precursor cells expressing αTub67CScer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4sim.PS give rise to three daughter cells in 38% of cases (this occurs in only 0.5% of cases in wild type).
