Or47b3 mutant males display a significant reduction in copulation success when courting wild-type females compared to controls and when competing for wild-type females with wild-type males.

Compared to wild-type Or47b3 mutant males display increased copulation latency and decreased copulation success when courting oe[-] females (females, whose oenocytes had been genetically ablated by expressing hidScer\UAS.cZa under the control of Scer\GAL4Desat1.PB).

The projections of Or47b-positive ORNs to the VA1lm/VA1v glomerulus is unaffected in Or47b2 homozygotes.

Or47b2 mutant males do not show elevated male-male courtship towards oenocyte-eliminated target males, although aggression levels are unaffected.

Or47b2 mutant males exhibit normal latencies to copulate with virgin females. The frequency of unilateral wing extensions toward females also does not show a statistically significant difference compared to controls.
