Wing margin bristles and the first longitudinal vein are almost completely eliminated and wing size is further reduced.
Expression of shf::Drer\wif1EDF-WIF.Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E strongly suppresses the wing vein phenotype seen in shfx33/Y mutants.
