Expression of shf::Drer\wif1EDF-WIF.Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 under the control of Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62 produces adult wing phenotypes. Anterior bristles are eliminated, the first longitudinal vein is disrupted and the wing is somewhat reduced in size.

Expression of shf::Drer\wif1EDF-WIF.Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16Eis largely lethal but adult escapers are seen.

Expression of dlpScer\UAS.cBa synergistically enhances the wing scalloping and bristle loss phenotypes seen when shf::Drer\wif1EDF-WIF.Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62. Wing margin bristles and the first longitudinal vein are almost completely eliminated and wing size is further reduced.

Expression of shf::Drer\wif1EDF-WIF.Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E strongly suppresses the wing vein phenotype seen in shfx33/Y mutants.
