Male BG00297^BG00297 mutants show an increased lifespan compared to controls. No change in lifespan is seen in females.

Starvation response is improved compared to controls 1 week old males but does not differ from controls at 6 weeks, whereas females show no change at 1 week but have reduced resistance at 6 weeks.

Chill coma recovery time in both males and females is similar to controls at one week but recovery time is reduced in both sexes at 6 weeks.

No change in climbing ability is seen in either males or females at 1 week but improved fitness compared to controls is seen in both sexes at 6 weeks.
