    Expression detected in three warmth-responsive sensory neurons in the arista. Neuron in wing vein L3 projects through the anterior cross vein to branch within the L4 vein.

    ScerGAL4hot-cell labels the three cilitated neurons at the base of the arista which are activated by warm temperatures and which project to the VP3 glomeruli of the antennal lobe.
