PdfrT:HsapMYC is expressed throughout the brain, and in some cases in close proximity to the projections of clock neurons or in the neurons themselves. PdfrT:HsapMYC is strongly expressed in the Pdf negative s-LNV neuron, three LNd's, and six DN1 neurons. It is weakly expressed in the s-LNv Pdf neurons and its dorsal projections, in two l-LNv's and its projections in the posterior optic commissure, and around four DN1's, DN2's and 10 DN3 neurons. PdfrT:HsapMYC also labels the boundary between the retina and the lamina and around 10 cells and its projections in the tritocerebrum and subesophageal ganglion. These cells are in close proximity to the processes of the Pdf-positive neurons of the tritocerebrum.
