      The "B14" line has been selected as a suppressor of the lethality caused by expression of VGlutScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP (carried in P{UAS-VGlut.GFP}) under the control of Scer\GAL4VGlut.PD. No mutation has been detected in either the VGlut or Avic\GFP coding sequences present in P{UAS-VGlut.GFP}, and thus "B14" may be a second site suppressor mutation rather than a mutation in the P{UAS-VGlut.GFP} construct.
