Expression of Mmp2JF01337 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU does not lead to any photoreceptor degeneration and ommatidial disorganization in the adult eye.

Knockdown of Mmp2JF01337 driven by Scer\GAL4Act.PU during adulthood (using Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B) causes a significant reduction in egg laying compared to wild type.

Expression of Mmp2JF01337 under the control of Scer\GAL4bab1-Pgal4-2 (using the temperature sensitive Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B allele to limit expression to the adult stage) results in an increase in the average number of cells in the interfollicle stalks compared to wild type.
