Expression of l(2)gd1Scer\UAS.cJa under the control of Scer\GAL4C5 results in partial thickening and short interruptions of wing veins.

Expression of a weak l(2)gd1Scer\UAS.cJa insertion line using Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 results in a broadening of wing veins, loss of wing margin in proximal regions, and sometimes formation of extra bristles. Expression of a strong line, or co-expression of two lines, results in expansion of the distal wing margin but loss of the proximal margin.

Expression of l(2)gd1Scer\UAS.cJa using Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results in loss of the anterior cross-vein and loss of scutellar bristles. Sensory organ precursors in the wing disc do not form.

Expression of l(2)gd1Scer\UAS.cJa using Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results in the formation/accumulation of late endosomes in the wing disc cells.
