Over-expression of trn using trn^GS10885 with Scer\GAL4^how-24B, Scer\GAL4^l(3)H94-H94 or Scer\GAL4^5053A causes a high frequency of mis-targeting of motor axons to muscles in the embryo. For ISNb axons this most commonly involves reduced innervation of muscle 12 or misrouting of axons innervating muscle 12 under, rather than over, muscle 13.

Cells expressing trn^GS10885 in the leg imaginal disc driven by Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 often invade the posterior compartment and intermingle with posterior cells.
