No obvious eye phenotypes are seen when ZnT63CScer\UAS.cWa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU.

Expression of ZnT63CScer\UAS.cWa-driven by Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in decreased eclosion rates under excessive dietary zinc conditions compared to controls. The lethality mainly happens before pupation.

Scer\GAL4da.G32-driven ZnT63CScer\UAS.cWa expression does not increase the sensitivity of the larvae to dietary copper as measured by survival rates.
