Epithelial defects are seen in the egg chambers of females expressing awddsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL455B; 30% show flattening of epithelial cells, 11% show gaps in the epithelium, 27% show piling up or loose cells, and 7% show invasion of the germ cell complex by the follicle cells.
Scer\GAL455B, awdRNAi.UAS has follicle cell phenotype, non-enhanceable by Rab5S43N.UASp.YFP, Scer\GAL455B
Scer\GAL455B, awdRNAi.UAS has follicle cell phenotype, suppressible | partially by Rab5Q88L.UASp.YFP, Scer\GAL455B
Scer\GAL455B, awdRNAi.UAS has follicle cell phenotype, suppressible | partially by Rab5UASp.YFP, Scer\GAL455B
Scer\GAL455B, awdRNAi.UAS has follicle cell phenotype, non-suppressible by Rab5S43N.UASp.YFP, Scer\GAL455B
The follicle cell epithelial defects seen in females expressing awddsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL455B are rescued by co-expression of either Rab5Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP or Rab5Q88L.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP, but are not rescued or exacerbated by co-expression of Rab5S43N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.
