Scer\GAL4tim.PE- or Scer\GAL4elav-C155-mediated expression of BdbtKK102995, together with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa, results in arrhythmic locomotor activity in constant darkness. Scer\GAL4tim.PE-mediated expression of BdbtKK102995, in the absence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa, results in longer than normal periods instead of arrhythmicity.

Scer\GAL4tim.PE-mediated expression of BdbtKK102995, together with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa, results in flies that lack anticipation of the dark-to-light and light-to-dark transitions when kept in light:dark cycles. The normal evening peaks of activity are also missing in these flies.
