Expression of p115KK100066 under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU results in lethality before pupation.

Expression of p115KK100066 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E leads to a reduction in the posterior compartment size of adult wings, but no obvious disturbance in venation or wing patterning, as compared to controls.

Expression of p115KK100066 under the control of Scer\GAL4hh.PU in the posterior compartment of third instar wing discs results in a significant increase in the proportion of cells in S phase and in mitosis in the posterior compartment, as compared to the anterior compartment, and a significant increase in cell death in the posterior compartment, but no significant difference in cell size, as compared to controls.

The wing posterior compartment size reduction seen in flies expressing p115KK100066 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E is enhanced in a Df(1)ct4b1/+ background, or when Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa or Grasp65HMS01093 is co-expressed; but is suppressed when Cdk1Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is co-expressed, and partially suppressed when Myt1KK102559 is co-expressed.

Third instar wing discs expressing both p115KK100066 and Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62 do not show any overt changes in the structure of mitotic spindles, as compared to controls.

Co-expression of stgScer\UAS.cNa fails to suppress the wing posterior compartment size reduction seen in flies expressing p115KK100066 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E.

Co-expression of Cdk1Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC suppresses the increased proportion of cells in S phase or mitosis in the posterior compartment of third instar wing discs expressing p115KK100066 under the control of Scer\GAL4hh.PU, but fails to suppress the increase cell death in these wing discs; no significant changes in cell size or DNA content are seen in these specimens as compared to controls.
