    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

Taf6XS-922/Taf62 animals rescued to adulthood by expression of Taf6hs.T:Zzzz\FLAG have notched wing and rough eye phenotypes, which are less severe if the animals are heat shocked during adulthood to express Taf6hs.T:Zzzz\FLAG.

Taf6XS-922/Taf62 males rescued to adulthood by expression of Taf6hs.T:Zzzz\FLAG (including heat shock during the adult stage) have postmeiotic stages including mature spermatids in the testis, but they are less abundant than in wild type. Taf6XS-922/Taf62 males rescued to adulthood by expression of Taf6hs.T:Zzzz\FLAG with no heat shock during the adult stage have a more severe phenotype; proliferation of stem cells to primary spermatocytes is normal, but the primary spermatocytes occupy an abnormally large portion of the testis and degenerate without initiating meiotic chromosome condensation.
