Expression of Snmp1Scer\UAS.cBa partially rescues the reduction in the number of lipid droplets per cell in the prothoracic glands of 51% of larvae expressing smt3dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO. The lipid droplets are comparable in size to controls. Expression of Snmp1Scer\UAS.cBa also rescues the lipid content in follicle cells expressing smt3dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4T155.

Basiconic olfactory sensory neurons that ectopically express Or67dScer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4Or22a.7.717 in a Df(2L)dp-79b Dp(2;2)dppd21 background show spontaneous firing but do not respond to cis-vaccenyl acetate (cVA). Co-expression of SnmpScer\UAS.cBa in this background results in a significant response to cVA by these neurons.
