Expression of Rpn11GD8888 under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 may result in a notched wing and loss of margin bristles, depending on the Rpn11GD8888 insertion line used.

Expression of Rpn11GD8888 under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PU may result in pupal lethality, depending on the Rpn11GD8888 insertion line used.

Adults expressing Rpn11GD8888 under the control of the cardioblast-specific Scer\GAL4tin.CΔ4 driver show significantly reduced survival on day 6 after a shift to 29[o]C compared to control flies.

Adults expressing Rpn11GD8888 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression of Rpn11GD8888 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) results in viable flies or partial lethality, depending on the particular P{GD8888} insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in early pupal lethality.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in lethality before the pupal stage, depending on the insertion line used.

Co-expression of Rpn11GD8888 does not alter eye degeneration in Scer\GAL4GMR.long>Hsap\ATXN3tr.Q78.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 flies. Co-expression of Rpn11GD8888 does not suppress the protective role of expression of Hsap\ATXN3Scer\UAS.WT.T:Zzzz\His6 or DnaJ-1Scer\UAS.cKa in suppression of eye degeneration in Scer\GAL4GMR.long>Hsap\ATXN3tr.Q78.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 flies.
