      PGRP-SC1am.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4T155 does not slow lethality due to S.aureus infection in PGRP-SC1aZ2-4761 mutant adults or rescue the accumulation of live S.aureus into phagosomes 24 hours after infection. However, it does partially rescue the ability to phagocytose of dead S.aureus particles in these mutants. But in the presence of free S.aureus peptidoglycan, PGRP-SC1am.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4T155 significantly slows of lethality and rescues of accumulation of live S.aureus into phagosomes in PGRP-SC1aZ2-4761 mutant adults.
