Detailed Description

20% of mutant males raised at 18-22[o]C through the first or second larval instar stages and then shifted to 28[o]C prior to pupal development have an under-rotated genitalia phenotype. The frequency of rotation defects is reduced if the flies are reared at 22[o]C.

Strong allele.
