Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

81% of NrgG00305/+ larvae encapsulate and melanise wasp (L. boulardi) eggs. NrgG00305/NrgG00305 never properly encapsulate a parasitic wasp egg, and fewer plasmatocytes are attached to the parasitic egg compared to control larvae. Unlike controls, plasmatocytes in NrgG00305 larvae extend filopodia from their apical side. In most NrgG00305 mutant larvae, no lamellocytes are attached to the wasp eggs.
