      Expression of EcRC.Scer\UAS in border cells, driven by Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6, causes a border cell cluster migration defect in over 50-60% of egg chambers. However, the apical cap of these egg chambers forms and is shed normally.

      Co-expression of EcRC.Scer\UAS rescues the lethality and eye defects caused by expression of EcRB1-ΔC655.F645A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF. Co-expression of EcRC.Scer\UAS rescues to normal viability and normal morphology animals expressing EcRB1-ΔC655.F645A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Lsp2.PH. Co-expression of EcRC.Scer\UAS rescues to nearly complete viability animals expressing EcRB1-ΔC655.F645A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1.
