Partial, but significant rescue of the vg83b27 lack of wing phenotype is seen when Hsap\TDUScer\UAS.cVa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4vg.int2.1. The rescued wings have veins and wing margins. The increase in eye size seen in flies expressing Hsap\TDUScer\UAS.cVa under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 or Scer\GAL4da.G32 is partially suppressed in a sdETX4 background.
