Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4twi.PGa a few ectopic caudal visceral mesoderm cells form in the head mesoderm. The adhesive properties of the mesoderm are altered.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

When expression of fkhScer\UAS.cRa and bynScer\UAS.cKa are driven together by Scer\GAL4twi.PGa there is a drastic increase in the number of anteriorly derived ectopic caudal visceral mesoderm cells form from the head mesoderm.

Complementation and Rescue Data
Partially rescues
Comments

Rescues the caudal visceral mesoderm phenotype of byn5, though the hindgut of rescued animals remains rudimentary. Almost completely rescues the germ-cell migration defect and defects in derivatives of the dorsal mesoderm of byn5 embryos.
