The ribbon-like outgrowth seen in apmd544/apP44 flies is entirely eliminated in flies expressing apΔHD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544. Flies expressing apΔHD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 in an apmd544/+ background have blistered wings with numerous margin defects. The dorsal and ventral wing surfaces often fail to fuse, resulting in a fluid-filled balloon-like structure. This phenotype is rescued if the flies are also co-expressing apScer\UAS.cOa. apmd544/apts78j flies have defective wing margins and unfused wing surfaces at 18oC. Introduction of apΔHD.Scer\UAS into this background (expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544) eliminates the wing blade altogether.
Scer\GAL4Bx-hdpR590/apΔHD.UAS is a suppressor of visible | recessive phenotype of BxhdpR590
Scer\GAL4Bx-hdpR590/apΔHD.UAS is a suppressor of wing disc phenotype of BxhdpR590
Scer\GAL4Bx-hdpR590/apΔHD.UAS is a suppressor of wing phenotype of BxhdpR590
Scer\GAL4Bx-hdpR590/apΔHD.UAS is a suppressor of wing vein phenotype of BxhdpR590
The wing pouch is a normal size in BxhdpR590 wing discs expressing apΔHD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-hdpR590.
Suppresses the wing phenotype of BxhdpR590 flies when expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-hdpR590.
