When driven by Scer\GAL4elav-C155 the anterior and posterior commissures of the CNS appear normal.

The motoneuron growth cones of embryos expressing commΔC.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B fail to initiate synaptogenesis and often stall just short of the target muscles. These phenotypes are seen in the five motoneuron nerve groups (the ISN, SNa, SNb, SNc and SNd).
