    Completely suppresses the enhancing effect of mod(mdg4)ul on the y2 phenotype. Also suppresses the suppressing effect of mod(mdg4)ul on the ct6 and scD1. The pigmentation of y2 e(y)11 or y2 e(y)21 flies is not altered by Su(mg)1-81-8. The wing phenotype of ctpN2s or ctpN30 flies is not altered by Su(mg)1-81-8. Su(mg)1-71-7 Su(mg)1-81-8 double heterozygotes have no visible phenotype.
