Eye pigment distribution: dorsal domain. w+ eye pigment is expressed only in the dorsal domain of the eye, and pigment is slightly stronger in the anterior of the eye. Adults that escape lethality show same dorsal pattern of eye pigmentation as heterozygotes. Double mutants with pksple-1 show exactly the same pigment distribution as in an otherwise wild type background.
