      Causes a significant shift in the pseudo-ovary phenotype: over 75% of otu10/Y pseudofemales carrying the construct had gonads with tumorous egg chambers, compared to 90% agametic gonads in otu10/Y.

      otu10 homozygotes and otu1/Df(1)otu-PΔ1 transheterozygotes carrying otu98.hs have relatively large ovaries containing many tumorous egg chambers.
