Detailed Description

Reference

Homozygotes have a locomotion period of 27.8 +/- 0.2 hours. Heterozygotes have a locomotion period of 25.5 +/- 0.1 hours. The mutant flies show temperature compensation of the locomotion period. The transition point of the phase response curve is delayed in timL1 flies, to about ZT 19.5 (compared to about ZT 18.5 in wild type). The amplitude of the advance domain is more than double that seen in wild-type flies.

Mutation produces 26.7 hour circadian rhythms in homozygotes and 25.4 circadian rhythm in heterozygotes.
