Failure of salivary gland degeneration. Reduction in dorso-ventral class of indirect flight muscles.
18--28% penetrance of zip interaction with br2Bab-1 heterozygous females.
92% incidence rate of SEG-TG separation failure.
br2Bab-1/br2Bc-1 heterozygotes have malformations of the basitarsus on the third pair of legs. Lacks 'br', 'rbp' and 'l(1)2Bc' function.
Puparium formation delayed by 6 hours. Pupae die without imaginal organs.
Heterozygotes with alleles of br or 'rbp' have reduced number of bristles on the palpus and have short, broad wings. Heterozygotes with Df(1)br25 are completely lethal.
br2Bab-1 pupae have normal imaginal organs and escapers have faded wings and reduced bristles on palpi. Prepupal lethal in combination with brnpr-1 or Df(1)S39. Puparium formation delayed six hours. Surviving br2Bab-1/brrbp-1 and br2Bab-1/br2Bc-1 exhibit malformed-leg syndrome.
