Heterozygous mutant adults show a fusion of tarsal segments T2 and T3. In the head segment of homozygotes, a loss of the basal cylinder of the antenna is seen.

When in combination with spl alleles of N alleles size of spl eyes slightly increases with no suppression of eye roughness.

Severe embryonic phenotype. Lethal when heterozygous with Dl9P, wings have irregular widening of all veins, vein 2 is broadened along entire length. Heterozygotes with Dlvi1 are lethal.
