Detailed Description

Abnormal bristles in adult. Homozygotes miss bristles and/or sockets (see Ueda et al., EMBO J. 11: 2935-2939).

Homozygous flies exhibit bristle defects. Sensory mother cells do not divide properly: loss or abnormalities of adult mechanosensory organs.

Abrupt disappearance of CycB that normally accompanies mitosis do not occur. The changes in the pattern of CycB expression result from controls at the transcript level.
